Soccer Recap: Academy at Palumbo Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Masterman

There's no place like home for Academy at Palumbo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They beat Masterman by a goal, winning 1-0. Given Academy at Palumbo's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Masterman are ranked 247th) , the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Academy at Palumbo's record now sits at 5-1. As for Masterman, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
