Volleyball Recap: Washington County Tigers vs. Linn Bulldogs
Washington County was the 2-1 winner over Linn when they last played one another on September 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Washington County Tigers fell just short of the Linn Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Washington County sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 18-25, 25-12.
Linn found their leader in underclassman Geni Turk, who had 13 digs and two aces.
Washington County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Linn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.
