Softball Recap: Newbury Park Panthers vs. Calabasas Coyotes

In what's become a running theme this season, Newbury Park gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past the Calabasas Coyotes 9-1. The win was nothing new for Newbury Park as they're now sitting on four straight.

Taylor Cook was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Cook has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 16 consecutive pitching appearances. Cook was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
