Softball Game Preview: Garber Dukes vs. Mt. Pleasant Oilers

For the second straight game, Garber will face off against Mt. Pleasant. The Dukes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oilers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Garber has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Wednesday, Garber didn't have quite enough to beat Mt. Pleasant and fell 5-4. That's two games in a row now that the Dukes have lost by just one run.

Ava Wagner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Paige Mendyk also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.

Garber's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-9. As for Mt. Pleasant, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
