Volleyball Recap: Alamosa Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Alamosa had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Valley Vikings on Friday as the Alamosa Mean Moose made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Mean Moose as they're now sitting on four straight.

Alamosa never let Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-21.

Aubrey Rothermich paced Alamosa's offense, picking up 14 kills. Rothermich got some help from Morgan Ortega and her 40 assists.

Alamosa pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

As of now, neither Alamosa nor Valley have any future games scheduled.
