Coconino won the last time they faced Lee Williams and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Coconino Panthers walked away with a 68-57 victory over the Lee Williams Volunteers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Several Volunteers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was James Coffman, who posted 24 points. Coffman's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hudson Lander, who earned 15 points.

Coconino is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Lee Williams, they moved to 3-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coconino will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Lee Williams and Mingus will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Lee Williams is facing Mingus at the right time seeing as Mingus is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
