Baseball Recap: Mitchell Takes a Loss

Mitchell was the 6-5 winner over Sierra when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Marauders fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 7-5 on Thursday.

Mitchell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Cherrie, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Jordyn Roberts also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Sierra, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mitchell beat the Stallions by a score of 6-5 later that day.
