Softball Recap: Willow Spring Storm vs. South Garner Titans

Willow Spring put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They beat the South Garner Titans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 16-1. The win was nothing new for Willow Spring as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Kathryn Whitehurst looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Abigail Howard was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three straight games.
