Baseball Preview: Westfall Mustangs vs. Huntington Huntsmen

Westfall and Huntington are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Huntsmen at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Huntington took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westfall, who comes in off a win.

While Westfall didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Adena 10-0 on Wednesday. The Mustangs not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2024 (when they won 14-4).

Cash Conrad made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
