Softball Game Preview: Providence Catholic Provets vs. St. Anthony Yellowjackets

The Providence Catholic Provets will head out on the road to challenge the St. Anthony Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Providence Catholic and four for St. Anthony.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Providence Catholic and Saint Mary's Hall have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Provets fell just short of the Barons by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Provets have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, St. Anthony lost 14-4 to San Antonio Christian on Monday.

Isabel Moreno was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

St. Anthony's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Providence Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13-2.
