Baseball Recap: Guy-Perkins Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Guy-Perkins's offense. They came up short against the Nemo Vista Red Hawks on Friday, falling 12-0. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Red Hawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Guy-Perkins saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Hale, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Guy-Perkins and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Nemo Vista, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Guy-Perkins will challenge Wonderview at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nemo Vista, they will square off against Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
