1. Kodiak
2013-14 finish: 16-0
Head coach: Brett Larsen

There's a new coach in town for Golden Bears and they must replace eight seniors from last season's undefeated squad that won a 4A state title.

2. Colony (Palmer)
2013-14 finish: 12-14
Head coach: Tom Lincoln

The Knights reached the state title game but Kodiak blew them out. They have a new coach as well, and Izzy Tweed graduated so there will be some big shoes to fill in Palmer.

3. West (Anchorage)
2013-14 finish: 13-4
Head coach: Stanley Engel

The Eagles beat Soldotna in the state playoffs but dropped their next two. The 4A State Player of the Year, Chanel Bookert, has moved on, but there is lots of talent coming back for West. Marshala Eady and Theyoung Puoy were each double-digit scorers last season.

4. Anchorage Christian
2013-14 finish: 22-3
Head coach: Darrin Powers

The defending 3A champions lose seven seniors so they will need to find kids able to step into some new roles. The highest scoring average of the returners is just 3.6 points per game.

5. Ketchikan
2013-14 finish: 19-8
Head coach: Kelly Smith

The Kings have second-leading scorer Eliah Anderson returning and only lost three seniors to graduation. Anderson and Courtney Kemble each averaged a just a bit less than six rebounds per game last season, one that ended with an 0-2 performance at state.
