Oasis Academy had lost seven straight headed into Wednesday's matchup, but Lyannrose Goss didn't let it get to eight. The Bighorns walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Silver Stage Nighthawks on Wednesday thanks in part to Goss, who had 15 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Oasis Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-12, 25-14, 25-18.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-17. As for Silver Stage, their loss dropped their record down to 2-20.

Oasis Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Coral Academy of Science - Reno on the 24th. As for Silver Stage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against North Tahoe on the 25th.
