Baseball Game Preview: Weatherford Kangaroos vs. Lake Ridge Eagles

For the second straight game, Weatherford will face off against Lake Ridge. The Kangaroos will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weatherford is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Tuesday, Weatherford narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Lake Ridge 5-3. That's two games straight that the Kangaroos have won by exactly two runs.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Cory Pantoja also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
