Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newnan). They never let the Banneker Trojans get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Friday. It was an even better day for BB Richardson as she scored three goals for her team.

Newnan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those six matches. Banneker dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Newnan duke it out with Douglas County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newnan will be up against Douglas County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Banneker, they will challenge Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
