Basketball Game Preview: Union Grove Wolverines vs. Pace Academy Knights

The Union Grove Wolverines will head out to challenge the Pace Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Union Grove comes in on three and Pace Academy on nine.

Union Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 78-59 win over St. Pius X Catholic.

Meanwhile, Pace Academy was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Kell 80-50. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 22 points or more this season.

Pace Academy's win came from a few key players Union Grove will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bentley Lusakueno, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (three). Hayden Clay was another key player, en route to 13 points in addition to eight boards and five blocks.

Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Pace Academy, they pushed their record up to 25-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
