With a playoff win on the line, Winfield rose to the challenge on Monday. They put the hurt on Rogers with a sharp 14-3 win. Considering Winfield has won 15 matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Winfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 19-25.
