Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Canyon Ridge hit Madison with a four-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bobcats fell just short of the Riverhawks by a score of 5-4. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Riverhawks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Canyon Ridge, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-16.

As of now, neither Madison nor the Riverhawks have any future games scheduled.
