Basketball Recap: English Valleys Takes a Loss

English Valleys lost against Sigourney back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The English Valleys Bears fell 54-41 to the Sigourney Savages. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

English Valleys' defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Sigourney, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

English Valleys will welcome Cedar Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. English Valleys is facing Cedar Valley Christian at the right time seeing as Cedar Valley Christian is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Sigourney, they will head out on the road to square off against Iowa Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
