Soccer Recap: Buckeye Comes Up Short

Buckeye was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Lakewood Rangers. If Buckeye were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Lakewood when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Buckeye's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-2. As for Lakewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Buckeye is taking a road trip to square off against University School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakewood, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Rocky River at 12:30 p.m.
