Softball Recap: Nova Comes Up Short at Home Against South Broward

Nova unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-6 to the South Broward Bulldogs on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 8-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Aniya Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

The win got South Broward back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nova will take on South Plantation at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for South Broward, they are taking a road trip to take on Cooper City at 6:30 p.m. on February 27th.
