Softball Recap: Pottstown Takes a Loss

Pottstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Hill School Rams. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 13-4 to the Rams when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pottstown's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Hill School, their record is now 2-6.

Looking ahead, Pottstown will look to defend their home field on Friday against Norristown at 4:00 p.m. The Trojans are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hill School, they will head out to face off against Peddie at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.3 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of.
