Basketball Recap: St. Henry Comes Up Short

St. Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 74-35 loss at the hands of the Marion Local Flyers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-50 back in December of 2024.

Austin Zimmerman and Jack Huelsman certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Zimmerman posted seven points, while Huelsman put up 11 points. Carson Harrod was another key player, putting up six points.

St. Henry's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Marion Local, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

St. Henry is taking a road trip to challenge Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Marion Local has already played their next game (against Fort Loramie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
