Loyalton had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Hayfork at home to the tune of 81-50 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Loyalton as they're now sitting on four straight.
Aidan Shelby was his usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-8 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 36 points and nine blocks. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Loyalton's points. Another player making a difference was Gus Petterson, who scored 22 points along with six assists and two steals.
Meanwhile, Princeton had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.4 points), and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They blew past Chester 76-42 at home.
