Rockingham County came tearing into Friday's game with 17 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Atkins Camels on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Cougars' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Rockingham County got a massive performance out of Kennidy Kirby, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lily Strittmatter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two stolen bases, and three runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rockingham County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matches.
