Volleyball Recap: Williams Comes Up Short

Williams lost against Person back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Rockets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Person's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Fuller, who had ten digs and two aces. Fuller is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ragan Ward, who had six aces.

Williams' loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Person, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Williams is set to take on their familiar foe Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Person will face off against rival Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
