Softball Recap: Montgomery County Eagles vs. Wilcox County Patriots
Montgomery County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Wilcox County Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 16-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Trinity Wideman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2023.
