Basketball Recap: Bradley Knights Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, Bradley Knights was not quite Knoxville A's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell 52-46 to the Ambassadors. Bradley Knights lost against Knoxville A in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 91-48 score last time.

Leading Knoxville A to victory were Justus Drake and Andrew Hall. Drake went 8-for-15 en route to 21 points and seven rebounds, while Hall shot 58% from the field on his way to 16 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Edan Hodson, who posted five points along with five boards and four steals.

Bradley Knights' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Knoxville A, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Bradley Knights will host Rocket City at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Knoxville A, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Maryville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
