Volleyball Recap: Harrison's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Harrison waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the North Arlington Vikings by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harrison was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Alaittim Deleon paced Harrison's offense, picking up 12 kills. Deleon got some help from Jeremy Rivera and his 26 assists. Deleon was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Harrison's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-2. As for North Arlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Ridge on the 27th. North Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
