Grinnell put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Southeast Warren Warhawks with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Tigers have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Grinnell's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Southeast Warren, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grinnell will host Clear Creek-Amana at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3, the Clippers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Southeast Warren, they will face off against Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
