Basketball Game Preview: Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders vs. Sully Buttes Chargers

Sunshine Bible Academy hasn't had much luck against Sully Buttes recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders will welcome the Sully Buttes Chargers at 6:15 p.m.

Sunshine Bible Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Ipswich on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 68-42. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Sunshine Bible Academy had strong showings from Abby Hinman, who posted eight points and three steals, and Breanna Thieman, who had three points and four steals. Hinman has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 27 times she's played.

Meanwhile, Sully Buttes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-36 victory over Waverly/South Shore on Saturday.

Sully Buttes' win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
