Volleyball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage was the 3-1 winner over Canyon Springs when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars on Monday. The Patriots just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by two points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 28-30, 25-23, 27-25.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Canyon Springs, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-11.

As of now, neither Heritage nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
