Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton was the 41-38 winner over Porter when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Dayton Broncos fell 41-33 to the Porter Spartans on Saturday.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Porter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dayton will square off against Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingwood Park will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Dayton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Porter, they will welcome Splendora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Porter is facing Splendora at the right time seeing as Splendora is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
