Basketball Game Preview: University City Centurions vs. Monte Vista Monarchs + How To Watch

The University City Centurions are taking a road trip to take on the Monte Vista Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. University City has given up an average of 66 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

University City saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patrick Henry. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Monte Vista beat Eastlake 73-60 on Tuesday.

The victory got Monte Vista back to even at 1-1. As for University City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for University City against Monte Vista in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, as the team secured a 72-41 win. Will the Centurions repeat their success, or do the Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
