Volleyball Recap: Corvian Community Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Corvian Community was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Langtree Charter Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cardinals came up short against the Community School of Davidson Spartans on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

While Corvian Community was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Community School of Davidson's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-15.

Corvian Community's offense was headlined by Ashten Humphries and Mylan ?Alissa? Clay, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Leah Harris and her five assists.
