Softball Recap: Teague Takes a Loss

Teague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-7 to the Huntsville Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

Teague's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Huntsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Teague will venture away from home to challenge Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Huntsville, they have already played their next matchup, a 7-2 victory against Richardson on the 28th.
