Gabe Erwin gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
