Meanwhile, Lincoln Prep fell victim to San Tan Charter and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Roadrunners. That's two games in a row now that Lincoln Prep have lost by exactly eight goals.

Lincoln Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tempe Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Tempe Prep took their win against Lincoln Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2020 by a conclusive 5-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Lightning have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
