Basketball Recap: Crosspoint Christian's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Crosspoint Christian pushed their score to 80 the last time they played Gilchrist, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Crosspoint Christian Warriors slipped by the Gilchrist Grizzlies 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Crosspoint Christian has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Gilchrist, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Crosspoint Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilchrist, they will be playing at home against Prospect at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
