Softball Recap: John Paul II Takes a Loss

John Paul II lost against Laurence Manning Academy last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Warrriors lost 15-4 to the Swampcats. The Golden Warrriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Paul II saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Heathcott, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that Heathcott scored this season.

John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

John Paul II does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they will head out to challenge Ben Lippen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
