Soccer Recap: Bogan Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Bogan and St. Laurence squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bogan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Bogan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 364th, while St. Laurence are ranked 79th).

Bogan has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. As for St. Laurence, they pushed their record up to 16-4-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

As of now, neither Bogan nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
