 Pilgrim can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  7-1 margin over the Mt. Hope Huskies. This was payback for Pilgrim, who suffered  a  2-1  loss the last time these two teams met.
 The team  relied heavily on  Aidan Dumond, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Derek Asciolla, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Pilgrim's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-8. As for Mt. Hope, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pilgrim will  challenge South Kingstown at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Pilgrim's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so South Kingstown's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mt. Hope, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Coventry at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. The last three games Coventry has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
