Basketball Recap: Ness City Skates Past Chase with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ness City). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 64-28 win over the Chase Kats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since February 5, 2024.

Leading Ness City to victory were Savannah Buller and Ashlyn Tillitson. Buller posted 17 points, while Tillitson earned 15 points. Those 17 points gave Buller a new career-high.

With the win, Ness City broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Chase, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Ness City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-25 defeat against Rawlins County on the 21st. As for Chase, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. John on February 4th.
