Baseball Recap: Hialeah Takes a Loss

Hialeah and Varela squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hialeah had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vipers, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Thoroughbreds have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Hialeah and nudges their season record down to 6-11. As for Varela, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6-2.

Hialeah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varela, they have already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Mater Academy Charter on the 16th.
