Basketball Recap: Freeman Skates Past Falls City with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Freeman's strategy against Falls City on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Freeman Falcons blew the Falls City Tigers out of the water with a 50-22 final score. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Tigers are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Freeman is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Falls City, they dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freeman will face off against Sterling on February 11th. Falls City has already played their next contest (against Diller-Odell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
