Soccer Game Preview: Royalton-Hartland vs. Pembroke

Royalton-Hartland is 0-3 against Pembroke since September of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will host the Dragons at 7:00 p.m.

Royalton-Hartland is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Akron on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Pembroke hadn't done well against Attica recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Dragons never let the Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Pembroke needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Pembroke's win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11-1. As for Royalton-Hartland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Royalton-Hartland suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Pembroke in their previous meeting back in September. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 4-0.
