Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers vs. Pleasant Plains Cardinals
Mt. Pulaski lost against Pleasant Plains back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hilltoppers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. While the Hilltoppers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cardinals 25-19 in the first set.
Mt. Pulaski actually scored more points across those three sets (71-69), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Mt. Pulaski had strong showings from Audrey Cooper, who had 19 digs and two assists, and Alyson Murphy, who had 22 assists and seven digs. Murphy is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
