Summit Shasta is a perfect 10-0 against The Nueva School since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Black Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m.

Summit Shasta's tournament run continued when they took on Sequoia on Saturday. The Black Bears fell 2-0 to the Ravens. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, The Nueva School entered their tilt with University Prep Academy on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Golden Eagles.

The Nueva School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.

The Nueva School now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Summit Shasta, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Summit Shasta beat The Nueva School 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Black Bears repeat their success, or do the Mavericks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
