Baseball Recap: Christ Prep Academy Has No Trouble Against Sacred Heart

After only two runs in their last contest, Christ Prep Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sacred Heart on Friday. The Patriots blew past the Gremlins 11-2. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

Joshua Neland was a standout: he scored a run while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Hudson Davis was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Neland wasn't the only one making solid contact: Christ Prep Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Christ Prep Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Sacred Heart, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Looking ahead, Christ Prep Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Lathrop at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart, they will host Otterville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
