After flying high against the Riverside Argonauts last Monday, the Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders came back down to earth. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter had to suffer through a rough 69-28 loss at the hands of Guerin Catholic. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter has not had much luck with Guerin Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter still got an impressive performance from Nia Stubblefield, who scored 15 points. Stubblefield scored a full 53.6% of Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Guerin Catholic was led to victory by Ava Bills and Annie Murphy. Bills scored 10 points along with 7 steals, while Murphy went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 20 points and 2 assists. Another player making a difference was Caroline Ford, who scored 4 points along with 5 steals.
Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Guerin Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
